There should be differences, but no discrimination.

Hello!
Taekwondo family!

Under the slogan "There should be differences, but there should be no discrimination," the World Taekwondo Federation for the Disabled will try to represent the weak and small disabled in society and to instill courage as a member of society.

One. We will prepare a place for Taekwondo disabled people around the world to become one.
Taekwondo is a world-class sport with member countries in the top 10 Olympic sports. Therefore, I will try to pay attention to Taekwondo not for the non-disabled, but for the disabled Taekwondo.

Two, Taekwondo is a non-disabled organization with 201 countries. However, compared to non-disabled organizations, there are no member states with disabilities and their activities are low. I will organize these organizations to broaden their scope of activities and promote active activities

Three, It has been adopted as an official event for the current and para Olympics (a physically challenged person, KYORUGI event) and the deaf Olympics (KYORUGI and Poomsae event). The Federation will hold international competitions to expand the scope of participation in international competitions for all types of persons with disabilities, thereby contributing to the athletes' self-esteem and driving force in their lives, and creating a foundation for other types of athletes who have not been adopted as official sports to be adopted as additional items for the Olympics.

Thank you.

Lee Sang-heon, President of the World Taekwondo Federation for the Disabled
